Earlier this month we were driving along the Brighton Road and the traffic was progressing at an even slower pace than normal. As we crawled along, rather than the usual temporary traffic lights, we discovered everyone was taking great care to slowly pass and applaud the adventurer and writer, Rosie Swale-Pope.
The 73 year old grandmother and author of 'Just a Little Run Around the World', has just restarted an epic solo run from Sussex to Kathmandu to raise money for the charity, Phase Worldwide. The run is just the latest in her many adventures which have included an ultra-marathon across the Sahara, sailing solo across the Atlantic and running around the world.
It's not everyday you meet a real life adventurer so we left her with one of our inclusion bars to provide a little energy. Find out more and contribute to the cause here: phaseworldwide.org/rosieruns
